Troubles in the Auditor's Office
(And Other Places)

Issue #1: Paying over $1,000,000.00 (Yes, One Million) in bills without proper authorization.

Issue #2: Using an unapproved vendor for services, paying the bill anyway, then forced to reimburse the approved vendor, costing the County double.

Issue #3: Auditor Laughlin signs a contract AS Camden County Commissioner (Only the Presiding Commissioner can sign a contract) for a software package used by the County Collector, Teresa Murray, and then pays the bill for the contract without Commission approval.
